Football

Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes, the San Tan Charter School football program won its first state title in its first year of varsity football. While 2017 wasn’t the first year STCS had fielded a football team, to win a state title in its first year of varsity eight-man football is quite an accomplishment.

Our football team continues to work every day to become a championship level football team. The players work every day to become the student-athlete we want our young men to be and the men of character we want them to become.

With excellence expected in the classroom, on the football field, in the weight room, around campus, and in the Gilbert community, San Tan Charter School Football is building a championship level program with elite Division I level players.

Varsity High School Tackle Football
Head Coach

Growing up in Chandler, AZ, I played football at Hamilton High School where I was part of 2 State Championships. I then went on to play at Arizona State University where I was part of the 2007 PAC-10 Championship team. I graduated from ASU in 2011 and was fortunate enough to continue my playing career in the National Football League as a wide receiver, and kick returner for 4 seasons.

After my playing days wrapped up I knew I wanted to get into coaching. I have coached at the High School level for 4 years and have also coached at the college level. I coached at Phoenix College and also Oregon State University.

I am very excited about joining the San Tan Charter family and building a top-notch football program. I believe this football program is ready to take the next step into the AIA conference where we expect to compete for a Championship. We will have a professional program that prepares our student-athletes for life after high school.
