My Why Story

I am from Kinston North Carolina and I grew up playing sports and saw many of my friends get hurt while participating. I did not have an athletic trainer at my high school and this made returning from injury difficult for all of us that were injured while playing. I knew that I wanted to help athletes in the future by keeping them healthy and getting them back to their sport as soon as possible. I have worked with two high schools over the past two years in Arizona and being able to help athletes brings me so much joy. Getting the chance to start a high school class on athletic training and sports medicine is a dream because now I can show students my profession and hopefully guide some to choose it in the future.
